pop up message appeared with the follwoing message

"Standard Enterprise Calendars are needed and
This may change some schdule dates"

I clicked OK and it published. When i checked again the

When you open the Project 2000 file, it contained a "local" (nonenterprise)
calendar that was set as the Project Calendar. A local calendar is any
calendar that is not found in your company's Enterprise Global file. In
your company's enterprise environment, your Project Server administrator has
specified that local calendars are not permitted in enterprise projects,
thus you get the warning message when you try to publish the project. The
schedule changed in your project because the system substituted an
enterprise calendar as your Project Calendar. Perhaps this was because your
company's enterprise Standard calendar has holidays on it, whereas the local
calendar had no holidays listed. Hope this helps.

Thank you Howard. It's really helped me to understand.
You are right my client has it's own specified calendar
to work. So now what should i do? like should define
Enterprise Calender again in Project Server 2003 and then
publish it or what else????

Thank you so much for your time...really appreciated!

The calendar you select as the Project calendar (Project - Project
Information) should reflect the general working schedule of people who will
be working on the project. If the client's calendar does not match the
working schedule for the project, you should ask the Project Server
administrator to create an enterprise calendar that matches the schedule you
desire. Once this has been done, you can then set the Project calendar by
clicking (Project - Project Information) and set the Nonworking Time
calendar by clicking Format - Timescale - Non-working Time. Once you have
done so, this should restore your project schedule back to its original
state and then you can publish it again (Collaborate - Publish - Project
Plan).

Do know this: each resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool has its own
personal calendar, based on an enterprise calendar. If each resource's
calendar is based on the original calendar that caused you your problems,
then the project schedule will change as you begin assigning resources to
tasks. Hope this helps.
