Start date & Actual start date

If my base has a start date planned for say 2 july 2004
but my actual start date is 22 June 2004, how can I
ensure that the actual start date is reflected without
changing the start date? Do advice. Thank you

Before you begin entering progress in your project plan, remember to save a
baseline using Tools - Tracking - Save Baseline. Once you have done so, you
might use the following approach:

1. Select the first task in the project, since this is the task that
started early
2. Click View - Table - Tracking
3. Enter 22 June 2004 in the Actual Start field
4. When prompted that the actual start is before the schedule start of the
project, click the Yes button

Hope this helps.
