start footer on page 3 not page 1

Hey all, I am developing a word doc and I am trying to create a title page
and table of contents and I need to start the footer on page 3. The footer
keep on showing up on page 1 but yet I dont want it to be on the title page
or the table of contents.

Anyone have any suggestions?

To change headers/footers in the middle of a document, you need to use
sections. At the top of page 3, insert a section break.

For example:

Section 1: pages 1-2, no header, no footer
Section 2: pages 3-, header, footer

That's it.
