Start/stop & restart same activity on same line

Can you start and stop an activity in Microsoft Project and on the same line,
start it and stop it multiple times? (Maybe a "resume" function?)

You sound like a Primavera user. As far as I know, no. You can add a
recurring task that may be close. Insert>Recurring task. Good luck.

You can also split the task at various points. Use Edit - split taks or the
icon to the left of the unlink tasks icon.
