Starting Access application with mdw-file gives flickering in continous form

I have a strange experience.
I have an application with a continous form.
When I start the application by double-clicking the mdb-file, the
application behaves normal.
That is the continous form is the starting form.

When I start the application (multiuser) with the path to Access and the
application and the workgroupfile
c:\progfil....\msaccess.exe c:\applicationfolder\applicatation.mdb /wrkgrp
folder\name.mdw,
the starting form is flickering and is not readable
