Starting an Excel macro with "ALT" or "/"

E

ernie.recob

My first entry needs to be "Alt" or "/" so that I can get
to the upper tool bar to get to my second command of "D"
for data.

It seems like the "Alt" key and the "/" key stops the
macro, because nothing records.

Got any help?

When recording, carry out your procedures with the mouse rather than the
keyboard.

I tried that but it did not work. Still nothing recording.
1. I click on "DATA" located at on the tool bar at the top.
2. I click on "Transfer Data From iSeries.
3. I check the "New Box".
4. I type in the server name.
5. I type in the Library / File member.
6. enter, enter, finish.
7. I repeat all this again, but with a different file
member for 5 more files.

Hope this helps. Thanks for your help.
