Starting Outlook

It doesn't matter how I start Outlook, I always get two
copies that open up. One has the Outlook icon in the
upper left corner. The other has an icon depicting a
folder with envelope on top. Both say Inbox - Microsoft
Outlook after the icon.

What version of Outlook? If you close one of the copies (windows? or
folders?) before shutting down completely, do you still get the two copies
(windows) at the next startup?

Yes, but I think I may have found the problem. My
installation of Comcast at home may be corrupted. I
recently had to wipe out my hard disk and reinstall
everything, and I realized that Comcast showed up as a
desktop Icon, but I had never reinstalled it. Since I got
rid of the desktop Icon, I haven't had the problem. I
have to go to Comcast and get a new CD to install the
software. Thanks
Roger
