starting outlook

A user here has a problem with outlook. It won't startup
and brings up the message about sending an error report to
microsoft. Then it asks for safe mode, which also produces
the same result.

Any ideas?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
