Hi - I am not at all good at trouble shooting computers, and have no
technical knowledge at all. I recently moved my work location from an office
building to my home and as a result my work email address (which is via a
pop3 account linked to microsoft outlook) no longer sends email but does
still receive them. My work and home internet providers are different and so
I have changed the smtp address in outgoing mail server, but it still does
not work.

I get the following message:

Verify the email address in your account preoperties. Server responded: 530
5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first. 34SM24874737ugh.10

Can anyone help me please???????

you need to enable an encrypted connection (SSL) for the SMTP server. look
on the advanced tab of the More Settings dialog in account set up.
