Statas Bar Content Disable mode

Statas Bar Content Disable mode 2007 Access
Thanks in Advance
I am attempting to complete a simple Table Query
Entered Table Name
Browse and inserted file name
clicked ok at Make Table
Message "Blocked by Disabled Mode"
Attemped to get the message bar to return by
clicking data base tools>Message Bar
The message bar remains turned off
Went to Microsoft button and tried to turn it on their but no luck
Any Ideas ??
