When I download Outlook 2000/2002 stationary, the d/l is ok, but when I run
the .exe to install the stationary, I get an error message saying that my
system doens't have the appropriate Outlook software installed and points me
to some Microsoft url that lists appropriate software. (Since the error
mesage doesn't allow cut&paste, I didn't go there.) Office XP(2002) is
installed on my system and Microsoft update indicates that it is up-to-date.
In addition, the Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs indicates that
Ooutlook 2002 is installed. In addition, I use Outlook every day and used it
to request more stationary.
Outlook's "get more stationary" function (Tools/Options/Mail
Format/Stationary Picker) opens IE at the Office Download page rather than
the Stationary page. That is really sloppy. Also, a graphic of the
stationary should be displayed on the webpage before a user wastes time
downloading wastepaper.
