Status area on form?

I generally use the MsgBox option on the add or delete
event. You can set this at form level, on Update, etc.

on a form. Things like 'record added' or 'record
deleted'. I looked in properties and could not find one.
I dont really have a good place to put one in the body of
the form. Or do people use the caption for this?
