status bar table

On the Status Bar in Excel, you can see the Sum or Average of highlighted
columns - it appears in the Bommom Left side of the Status Bar - Is there a
way to have this same feature work (in a similar manner) in an Access Table?
If so, How to I set this up. Thanks

I expect that Jim may be having the same problem I am having this
morning. My NG server must have had a night out last night and this
morning it has lost a number of messages. I don't see Jim's 9:01 post but
I do see on at 9:27 and 9:55.
