status bar

there is a status bar at the bottom of the outlook window.
is it accessable? if so how?

i have a sort/filter mailbox routine that could really use
that instead of message boxes.

There is no programmatic access to the Status Bar. All you can do in
code is turn it on or off using the .Execute method of the View,
Status Bar menu command.
