The status indicator tell me when I am either on schedule or behind schedule.
Can it also tell me if I am ahead of schedule?

Hi ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

See help for what the Status Indicator does. But there isn't an indicator
for being ahead of schedule.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Bruno, You can add a column for Variance Start or Variance Finish. MSP
calculates the current or actual dates from the baseline dates. You'll get a
positive or negative number. Not only can you see if you project is on track
but look at every task. You can filter on this also. Adding baseline bars to
the graphics is also helpfull. If you haven't set a baseline yet, I suggest
you do so ASAP.
Good Luck!!
