Status Manager issue...

Dear all I am facing with this issue but I cannot understand the reason, I
have a pm not receiveng updates on tasks when he opens his project, checking
the status manager is set with the account of the project office user, but
from the dropdown I cannot select him (the pm), how can I add him to the
status manager choices? Is there a way to do it without recreate the project,
many people sent task updates to him in the past for this project and I
cannot lose them.
Which properties on categories or groups define status manager role
membership?

Thank you again.

The dropdown list for the status manager will be defined the following two
ways:

1) You will see your own name.
2) You will see any user that is already marked as the Status Manager of at
least one task on the project plan.

This means that in order to get this PMs name in the Status Manager dropdown
list for this project, you need to have him/her open this plan and set
themselves as the status manager of at least one task and then save the
plan. After that, you can log in yourself and set that PM as the Status
Manager for all other tasks you wish.

The updates should not be lost, once you set the new status manger and
re-publish the plan the updates should appear for the new PM the next time
they open up the project.

Hope that helps.

afternoon!

Thank you again.
