Status Reports

Is there a way to make a heading a required field to fill out? Also, is
there a way to customize the headings you want to see when you merge the
status reports? For instance when I merge my status reports I only want to
see the headings "My accomplishments" and "Hot Issues".

I guess if I wanted to write a simple script that kicks off when someone
clicks save or send to check for fields that I want required, I'd have to
have access to Microsofts code, and I'm guessing that's not possible?
