Status & Status Indicator Problems

Could someone please tell me which field is used to
calculate the Status field in MSProject 2002.

I have a project with approximately 400 tasks, all of
which are either on schedule or 100% complete. However,
the project summary bar indicates that the project is
behind schedule. Why?

If you saved a baseline, what does the variance say for
the summary task?

Yes, I did save a baseline. The Start and Finish Variance
for the Summary Task are both zero days.

To answer your first question:

* The Status field is based on the % Complete field.
* The % Complete field is based on the task's duration.

Without actually seeing the information for all of your tasks, I wouldn't
want to guess which task(s) cause the Late indicator to be displayed.
