I cannot figure out to got Project to move completed and remaining
work around the status date when updating in Project Web Access 2007.
In EPM 2003, the resources would update the tasks in Project Web Access,
using the Completed and Remaining Work method.
When the Project Manager accepted the updates, Project Pro 2003 would open
and a pop-up message would ask if the project manager needs to update the
status date. The project manager would update the status date, and Project
Pro would use the calculation options to:
-Move end of completed parts after status date back to status date
-Move start of remaining parts back to status date
-Move start of remaining parts before status date forward to status date
-Move end of completed parts forward to status date.
Having nothing but complete work before the status date, and only remaining
work after the status date is needed for a valid model of remaining work in
the project.
Does anyone know how to get similar behaviour after updating tasks in PWA
with EPM2007?
