I'm connected to work from home from a VPN, I've got Outlook open and
the icon in the bottom right shows I'm disconnected from the Exchange
server. How can I connect to the Exchange Server and stay connected,
even after Outlook is done its first synchronization?
I know I can close Outlook, and this time select "Work Online" at
startup to stay connected. I'd like to get and stay connected, without
closing Outlook.
This seems to be the intent of leaving the "Stay connected " option
unselected under MS Exchange Settings > Exchange Server> Properties >
Remote Mail > "Disconnect after connection is finished", but that
doesn't do it for me.
