Steeeking Shared Borders Won't Go Away

Alex

It's like the "Night of the Living Dead". I had shared borders, now I don't
want them but I cannot get rid of them . I did as per instructed. I went to
Page Options and turned off Support for Shared Borders" They were STILL
there. I finally deleted the entire Border folder. They came BACK!!!

Short of going through each page individually, how do I kill these little
bastards??? (and I'm not enough sure THAT will work)

Alex

PS.. (two for the price of one) .I had originally asked how to do this.... I
want to click on various thumbnails and have it open a window (about 75%o
fthe page size). I USED to know how to do it and and for the life of me I
can't remember.

Enabling/Disabling options under Page Options will not remove features already added when the
option(s) where enabled. only stop you from adding disabled options to new pages.

You need to open a page with Shared Borders, and set be apply to All page, uncheck all Shared Border
location and set as web / site default. Now if you have applied Shared Borders throughout your site
and have no enabled or disabled them on individual pages, they should all go away as long as you are
not using a Theme.

How about Format > Shared Borders, then un-check the borders you don't want.
