step-by-step guide to....

....creating anything within powerpoint. In this instance a Pie chart
including separating the slices, adding percentages and text, change text
colours, centreing and on and on and on? I have books but they're too
involved, I just want something like Insert, Chart, Pie, Edit...

Ehm, well that is exactly what you do, almost. Insert, Chart, right click on
it and choose 'Chart type', pick 'Pie' and you're done. You add the % etc in
the smal window that popped up.

that portion took a full day (good pun!) - Its very trial and error, I can't
always get to the part where I can actually edit the chart i.e. aligning the
data labels - don't suppose you know of any good websites with tutorials
(FREE)?
