Hello

On fairly new Intel laptop 15" - lots of memmory.
Have 12.2.1 and always install updates.
Recently re-boot
Recently repair permissions ( and verify disk ) - next step will be disk warrior

I do NOT see anything posted about trashing preferences ( or equiv ) in case I have junk there ?? What is next. What needs to be cleaned out ??

There are some real speed issues- but I am running into issue that Excel just gives me the spinning ball .... forever .... doing some heavy data --trying smaller chucks to see.... even COPY take a very long time.

As I was searching this and writing - Excel finally finished a COPY of one column in approx 66,000 records

Painfully slow in some operations - been using Excel for a long time on the Mac -- some times I go back to Office X ( but this data has more rows that X will handle )

Thank you for your report. Microsoft is now aware of this issue and is
currently investigating. It appears that the problem is related to specific
printer drivers on Snow Leopard when Excel is in Page Layout View and that a
temporary workaround to the problem is to switch to Normal view
(View/Normal). Please do report back to the newsgroup if that workaround
works for you and if you identify other drivers that cause this problem.

Thanks,

Pat
