Sticky pix again? Word 2007

I dropped about five pix onto a page, and they position pretty nicely,
but snug. However, I want to be free to place them where I want them. Is
this an anchor problem?

Answer: Put a canvas on the page. Insert pictures into the canvas via
the Picture icon on the Insert tab. Now you can move them anywhere in
the canvas.
