Still affected Virus - Terry Farrel

Dear Terry,
I have dopwnloaded the Mcafee scanning, I can't find any
of the virus in the HardDisk. When I do shift+right click
to open the docs - unfortunately there is no open with.
All my documents file size changed to 76Kb, when I right
click to choose properties, it says:-
type of file-application
company-remil cafe',
file version-1.0,
internal name-my picture,
original file name-my picutre.exe,
porduct name-winfile32,
product version-1.0

pls help is there any new virus scanner or how can convert
it back to real word documents.

Well some viruses do a splendid job of destroying documents without changing
the structure so that Windows and Office still see the files as Word
documents, but the contents are garbage. It seems that is the type of virus
infected you had. Do you know the name of the virus type?
