When I try to open the log file in MS Word it points to Korean char set
??????

I know Alexa does Russian, so I figure google does too.

rather than messing with raw log files, see if your host has some sort of
"control panel" or a GUI type statistics package you can use.

Try opening the log file in Excel, not Word.
