I’m running Win Xp sp2. I'm using sql 2000 with Access 2002 and 2003. I have
all the updates to Win and Office 2002 and 2003.
Last week I posted a message that I was getting a "Report Error" box coming
up.
It was suggested that I re-install MDAC and jet. This has been done. But I’m
still getting the “Report Error†message.
About two months ago I leaned that we might be going to Office 2003. I
opened my database in 2003 to see if there were going to be any problems.
Everything seemed to work fine so I continued to develop my database in 2002.
While working in 2002 a few weeks ago I started getting the “Report Errorâ€
popup. Then last week while working in 2002 everything I would click on the
“Report Error†would popup.
I started using 2003 and the “Report Error†doesn’t appear. If I open the
database up in 2002 the “Report Error†still appears.
I was told be someone that just opening the database in 2003 made some
changes and that’s the problem.
Can anyone tell me why the “Report Error†keeps appearing when I open the
database in 2002 and how to fix the problem?
