STMP Error

I'm getting an error message (0x8004210B) that says 'The
operation timed out waiting for a response from the
sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this
message, contact your server administrator or Internet
service provider (ISP).'

I contacted my ISP and they said the connection is
working fine. It must be a problem with Outlook. Any
ideas?

Is your setting STMP or SMTP? (smtp-server.xxx.xxx.com or whatever). The
right setting is SMTP (send mail to people).

Do you have any anti-virus software installed that is scanning your outgoing
mail? That's been known to cause this problem.
