stop Capitalisation- Help!

at the start of each line. this is seriously irritating. it does not do it
here. but in word, every line, goes capital. m,aybe it's every sentence. but
in poetry this is annoying as I want to start lower case often.

Try Tools / AutoCorrect and uncheck "Capitalise first letter of sentence".
That's in Word 2000 and it will be something similar in other versions I
expect.
