Stop doors sticking to walls

Hi. Using Visio 2003 Building Plan, how can I 'switch off' the default behaviour of doors embedding themselves into the nearest wall?

I have created a curved 'wall' using the 'Blocks' stencil, but because its not a proper wall the door I am trying to position in it jumps to the nearest proper wall instead.

Alternatively, can I create a semi-circular wall using the default 'Building Plan' stencils? If I do this the default door behaviour would be OK.

ofcourse, i could just use the built in 'curved wall' shape, which fits my needs perfectly
