Stop New Mail Desktop Alert For Good?

L

localshop

Hi I am running an exchange 2003 server on the network. I log into one pc
with my profile and disable New Mail Desktop Alert, however if then I logg
onto a different pc the New Mail Desktop Alert is still active (other outlook
preferences seem to follow me around)

Is there anyway to synchronise this alert setting on a client or on the
server so it is turned off for good?

All pcs run outlook 2003 SP3 and we do not use roaming profiles.

Thanks

if you used roaming profiles it would follow you... the setting is stored in
your user prefs in the registry, not in the mailbox.
