Stop the Digital Signing Process

so...why do we have to go through the siging process before we can find an
event to stop the final signing process?....

I have a section that I only want to allow to be signed by those of a
certain role or maybe not until all required data has been entered...

I would have thought the OnSign event will allow this but it seems that it
fires after the signing process...

Also, Infopath warns about all required or invalid data before the signing
process but I still want to prevent signing before going through the
process...

Any comments would be appreciated...
