Stopped Syncronising

I have a problem with syncing. I have 3 computers file sharing numerous
workspaces. Essentially it has stopped syncing them and if you open the
communications manager it shows all the workspaces that are not syncronised
witha message such as "0 bytes left to transmit, 62 bytes left to receive".

I have logged out of all 3 and run grooveclean and re logged in - no change.

All 3 computers run Vista Ultimate, Groove is v 2007 (4.2.0.2623) SP1 MSO
(12.0.6213.1000). I do not run NOD Virus scan and my disks are all NTFS.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

Did you properly install your Groove accounts on your 3 PCs?

As Groove keeps track of devices on which your Groove account has been
installed (see options/preferences/account), you may want to check
whether all 3 devices listed in Groove on all 3 PCs.

Some explanation:
When you install your Groove account on more than 2 devices, you need to
watch out about the Groove account file (.GRV file) you use to insert
your account.

The right order to install your Groove account on 3 (or more) devices is
as follows:
- Create your Groove account on PC1.
- Save your account as a file (file 1). (options/preferences/account)
- Insert your Groove account (file 1) on PC2: PC2 and PC1 exchange
information to update the list of devices on both PCs. Check this.
- Then, again, save your account as a file (file 2). This is an
important step that you should not skip!
- Insert your Groove account (file 2) on PC3: PC3, PC2 and PC1 exchange
information to update the list of devices on all three PCs.

In case you did not respect this order when installing your account on
all three PCs, then it is likely that PC2 and PC3 will not know each
other and hence they will not synchronise.

Hope this helps :)
