Stopped working both computers

Program has been working for nearly two years and now both my computers will
bring up the launchbar but all data is blank and when I click "Preferences" I
get the following error window:

Component 'IdentitiesTabSubForm/IdentityTabGlue' from
'groovedocument:///groovexss/c:%5cprogram%20files%5cgroove%20networks%5cgroove%5cdata%5cresources.xss/identities.grp' failed to initialize.
HRESULT: 0x80004005
Process: Groove.exe (ID: 4408 (0x00001138))
Thread ID: 4412 (0x0000113c)
Date: December 3, 2006 7:34:02 AM EST

As a result of the error:
Library not registered.

When I click on set roles, I get:

Component 'VersionDialogSubForm/GrooveVersionDialogGlue' from
'groovedocument:///groovexss/c:%5cprogram%20files%5cgroove%20networks%5cgroove%5cdata%5cresources.xss/grooveversiondialog.grp' failed to initialize.
HRESULT: 0x80004005
Process: Groove.exe (ID: 4408 (0x00001138))
Thread ID: 4412 (0x0000113c)
Date: December 3, 2006 7:46:38 AM EST

As a result of the error:
Library not registered.

Obviously, the HRESULT: 0x80004005 is the same for both so that must be key,
but I don't find anything when I search for that. Any ideas??? Thx

The error indicate that one or more Groove *.DLL files' registrations were
corrupted.

The quick solution is to reinstall Groove program under the Windows
Administrator User Account and then restart the computer to re-register the
*.dll files.

Hi,

The error message is a common one. There are many reasons can lead to this
kind of issue:

1. The Groove Account is corrupt.
2. The Groove Clients on the 2 computers are corrupt.

Therefore, please perform the following steps to narrow down this issue:

Step 1:
----------
Please find another computer and setup your Groove account in problem on
that computer. Can you access your Groove Account from another computer? If
so, this issue may be related to the Groove Clients. If you also cannot
access the account on another computer, it means the account is corrupt. You
may need to create a new Groove account to resolve this issue.

Step 2:
----------
The Groove Installation Verification utility, GrooveIV, resolves many
problems that
are caused by incomplete installations. You must run this utility in a
command
window, as follows:

1. Click Start, select Run, type cmd and then click OK.
2. Open your Groove Bin folder. If you installed Groove in the default
location,
you can do this with one of the following commands:
a. (on Windows 2000 or XP) cd \program files\groove
networks\groove\bin

b. (on earlier versions of Windows) cd progra~1\groove~1\groove\bin
3. Type GrooveIV -nocom -nover -noreg -regall and press Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt window.

Step 3:
----------
Log in the administrative account of your computer, and over install Groove
3.1. If
your company has your own Enterprise Management Server to manage Groove
Accounts, please contact your Groove Admin to send the installer to you. If
your Groove account is un-managed, please download the setup.exe file from
the following URL:

Full Install file link:
<http://components.groove.net/Groove/DailyBuilds/latest/OCI/Setup.htm>

Over installing will not remove any licenses nor will it remove any account
or
space data. There is also no need to uninstall first. Upgrade to this
version of
Groove Virtual Office and let me know if this resolves your problem.

Let me know the results.

Hi,

From your reply, I think your Groove account is corrupt.

As a test, please create a new trial version Groove account on one of your
computers. Create a workspace in it and perform some operation in it to see
whether you encountered any issues in the new account.

If you do not encounter any error message, we can make sure that the Groove
program on your computer is working fine and this issue is caused by the
corrupt old Groove Account. Please create a new account and contact other
members to re-add you back to the workspaces.
