Stopping unwanted read receipts from a user

Outlook 2000 problem - HELP URGENT

I am facing a uniq problem. Couple of users are getting a read receipt from a
single user. I have applied all patches for office and OS. Also scanned for
various virus activity.
I have also checked settings in outlook 2000 but no use. Mail senders are
getting at least 20 read receipts when ever a perticular user access mails.
If any one gives me a solution on the same it will be great help.
