store installation error/Word

To Whom It May Concern:
My mom recently purchased a HP system "tower" from a
Office Depot in Fresno, CA. and it had WinXP already
installed, and was to include access to Microsoft Word.
When I go to the application, it requires the product key
code, which I don't have. Who do I contact to resolve
this...Office Depot? Microsoft? or HP? Is there a way
to download it for free online?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I am currently
using Works and a program called AbiWord is a temporary
solution for now, and they don't work at times, but I
want Word.

Hi Chris,

Since Microsoft Word came along with the HP System. One of the best option
would be to contact the HP to get the product key.
I am quiet sure they woudl have the product key.
