stored procedure to post updates via pds

Can anyone show me an example or provide goood docuemntation on how to
have a stored procedure on a server via pds update fields on a projuct
server. For instance, Server A (in house system running sql server
2000) needs to update time fields on Server B (project Server 2003
databases)
