storing photos in access and merging them into word document

My goal is to store photgraphs of my students in a database, which I'm not
sure how to do, t hen mailmerge them into a word document that will display
the photo with other information about the person. I know how to mailmerge
fields from access, but do not know how to do this with picture files. Can
anyone help
