Strange behaviour listview control

Using Word 2002.
Have a userform with a listview.
This listview gets populated with a
small array.
When the forms shows the listview at first appears empty and slightly in the
wrong place. On clicking it the data shows, but it is still in the wrong
place.
Then when I move the form the listview will finally show normal.
Tried to prevent this behaviour with a form repaint and a listview refresh,
but with no success.
Any ideas what might be causing this and how to prevent it?
