strange keyboard behavior

I have a colleague who is having a strange problem. It seem that
whenever he pressed the shift+quote (") Word automatically inserts
certain text. It is as if a macro were running based on a keyboard
shortcut. The only thing is the shift+quote is not a valid short cut
key.

How do I get it to stop this?

It is strange to reply to your own post like this, but I came across
the answer. It was not a macro, but errant text pasted into the
AutoCorrect Options. In case this happens to anyone else.
