Strange Outlook 2000 Problem

Hi. A client of mine is experiencing a strange Outlook 2000 problem. When
she replies to or forwards a message from her inbox, the message is sent
fine, and a copy is left in her sent items folder, however the original
message from her inbox is gone, and not in the deleted items folder.

This is a set up that has been running for years, and seems to have lately
lost its brain. For what it's worth, their back end is Exchange 5.5.

Any thoughts?
