Strange Printing from Excel

I work with several PC's within my work place, and there is one PC that when
it prints a column of numbers becomes increasingly out of alignment as you
go down the column. It appears that the printed cell borders are OK, but
the values alone seem to shorten up. I have printed to three different
models of HP laser printers, have checked and reloaded drivers, even tried
the wrong drivers. The same files print OK from other machines. The
problem is restricted to the one PC, and it has me stumped. Any help would
be appreciated.

The file is a shared file off a network drive that is used by several
persons.
I even tried duplicating the file from scratch, and the problem still
persists only on the one PC.

When you say you checked and reloaded the printer drivers, do you mean that you
changed the printer driver on the troublesome pc?

If no, then I'd try it from that pc.

(I don't have a guess if that's what you did.)

Yes - both update, and an uninstall and re-install of all the printers on
the problem machine.
My last resort will be to repair office, and then uninstall and the
re-install, if all else fails.
I just never have seen this problem - totally stumped

Sorry my error -- the .xlt file may be corrupt - yes the file comes from a
network drive but every Excel program has a local copy of the .xlt template
on their pc.

1.. Do one or more of the following:
2.. In Microsoft Windows Explorer, remove any template files from the
XLStart folder. The XLStart folder is usually located at:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\XLStart

a.. If the files aren't in the XLStart folder, look in the folder
specified in the At startup, open all files in box on the General tab in the
Options dialog box (Tools menu).
b.. To restore original settings for workbooks, remove Book.xlt. To
restore original settings for worksheets, remove Sheet.xlt
