Strange Problem = Microsoft Project Server was unable to find the specified project.

D

DD

When I try to open the project from MS Project Professional 2002 the following error is given:

Microsoft Project Server was unable to find the specified project.

Check the project name and version. If the problem continues, contact your server administrator

But when I open the project in PWA the project views are available

I opened the database and made the following changes, and made no help:

in MSP_Projects

Proj_Data_Source --> PC10DSN ( it was empty)

Proj_Version --> Published ( it was empty)

Then I realised something strange:

When I opened the MSP_WEB_Projects table the

WPROJ_Default_WPROJ_ID was -1 unlike other projects

Can you think of or know the value that this WPROJ_Default_WPROJ_ID column, and where does it take the values

Are you certain that this project was saved to the Project Server Database
correctly? Phantoms like this can be the result of a publish after a File >
Save As action. Have you used the Site Editor tool on the machine to create
additional sites?
