Strange problem using BOLD

I'm working on a document that has an hanging indent style. When I
try to use BOLD or STRIKETHROUGH on some text, for some reason it
applies that to ALL the text instead of just what I have selected.
Why does it do that? Shouldn't selected text be the only thing that
is bolded or striked through?

Can you give some more information? I can't reproduce your problem.
What exactly are you doing to produce the symptoms? Also, what
version are you using?

Does it occur if you start a new doc and enter stuff? Or is it maybe
applying to a template somehow?
