Our school district has a school network, which uses a metaframe to
connect all of the schools, except our school which is not connected
to that network. We get our email through an internet provider by
using a modem to connect to the Internet.
My boss has a separate e-mail address.
Recently, the school district went from using Lotus Notes to using
Outlook 2000 for its email. Before that date, my boss had no problem
receiving emails from the City Hall or other people on the metaframe.
Now, none of the emails sent from those attached to the metaframe get
through. He does receive, as far as he knows, all other email sent to
him from other senders not on the metaframe.
I have sent him emails from my personal address and he got them. I
sent one to him from an address at one of the schools and he didn't
get it. No error message came either way. He hasn't upgraded his
Outlook- he's using Outlook 2000 which is what he's been using for the
past 2 years or so. The only change that has happened is over in the
city's metaframe. The guys in the IT section in the city hall say they
can't figure it out.
Any ideas what the problem could be?
