I'm looking into solutions that will allow for MS-Word to print millions of
pages.
Here is the problem. Currently have an application that populates letters
in Word with information from a backend database. However, because of
limitations in the size of a Word document, only about 4000 pages can be
populated in a file before problems occur. Since most print jobs will
consist of a few hundred thousand pages (perhaps as many as a couple million)
the current setup is impractical. So I'm looking for ways to streamline this
and my original thoughts were to stream the word documents into something
like a pdf.
That said, I haven't done anything like this before and was curious if any
of you might have ideas or have come across something like this in the past?
