How can I stretch a large image for a web background
instead of it tiling. thanks

Html background images can not be stretched
In an image editor add "white" space to your image so it won't tile

Hi,
impossible I'm afraid. However you can stop it tiling with some CSS - you'd
probably also want to centre it on the page

background-image url(image.gif);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-position:center;
}
</style>
