STS: Issue Tracking Customization

Hi

I know I can change the issue tracking fields after a project (and its
STS subweb) is created, but how I (as the project server admin),
change the default (global) set of fields?

I've looked in the help and SDK, with no luck. Is there a
configuration file somewhere?

Also, does anyone have an example of project server hooked into a
custom issue-tracking system (instead of sharepoint)?

Ojas:

This would require editing the master templates, which are maintained in XML
format. There are changes made specifically for project that you must
maintain, but customizing STS otherwise follows the same rules as
non-project-server instances. You can find information on customizing STS on
MSDN, supporting documents on TechNet as well as STS news groups and
non-Microsoft sources.
