stuck at "listing pages in web"

Due to space issues on my hard drive, I moved all files over to
another drive. Now, when I try to publish, it just gets stuck at
"listing pages in web".
Any thoughts?

Had the same problem. HTML files will publish faster if your graphics are
in a different subdirectory with links in your HTML pages.

Now I publish a limited number of graphics then move them from my web on my
PC.
You may want to test my selecting publish all page, overwrite, etc. but do
not select to delete the files on the net server as your local web on your
PC will not have the list of graphic files you have moved.

This choice will not go through the process of comparing files.
You may want to test with a practice web until you get the hang of it.

All of the graphic files are at http://photo.accaw.org
Then part of the HTML files are at http://melvillehighschool.accaw.org
They publish faster as the graphics are only links to http://photo.accaw.org

How did you move the files to the other drive?

I completely moved them to another drive. I didn't leave a copy in the
original folder since I was running out of space.

However did you use FP File Menu | Publish Web command or just copied with Windows Explorer and you
are working with a disk-based web correct?

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and
C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Local Settings\Temp
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in C:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Open you new disc based web and Run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlink and then try to publish again

Next time Do not move disc based webs in Windows
- Use FP to File Publish them to a new location and then in FP delete the old web
