Student and teacher trial edition

I got a S & T trial edition of Office 2003 with a new computer. The "Package
to CD" option in the File menu of PP is disabled (greyed out). It is
supposed to be available with the S&T edition, but does anyone know if it's
disabled because it's a trial version. I've searched the MS Office site and
can't find any info.

Thanks

It will be grayed out if you don't have a presentation open. Is that the
possible cause?

Thanks, but I don't think so...I have a presentation open that was created
in PP 2000. Any other ideas?

Okay, then it's possible that the OEM version doesn't install the Package
for CD feature by default. Did they provide a separate CD for Office? If
so, insert it in your CD drive and run Setup.exe. Select Add/Remove
Features and check the box on the dialog that says "Choose advanced
cutomization of applications". In the Advanced Customization dialog,
expand the list under Microsoft Office PowerPoint. Locate Package for CD
and be sure that it is set to "Run from My Computer".

If you don't have the separate Office CD, chances are that you can't access
Package for CD and would have to purchase the full Office Suite or
PowerPoint 2003.
